Dead Northern III — 2021 Horror Film Festival: Fear Returns

Beyond the screenings, the festival came to life with live awards, music, entertainers, and after-parties, creating an immersive experience that brought horror fans together for a thrilling weekend of cinematic terror and entertainment.

The 2021 Dead Northern Film Festival delivered a thrilling mix of horror classics and fresh blood, featuring screenings of Host with an exclusive Q&A from director Rob Savage, alongside iconic titles like Dawn of the Dead, Friday the 13th, Hellraiser, and Videodrome. Audiences also experienced bold new horrors such as Ten Minutes to Midnight, Danni and the Vampire, and the locally made feature Chestersberg from director Jamie McKeller, making it an unforgettable celebration of fear, film, and cinematic terror.

With a Halloween Party featuring a bouncy castle and prizes for the best horror costume, it proved that horror could be both spine-tingling and endlessly fun.
