Daisy Bata: Writer & Director
Daisy is a UK-based filmmaker and screenwriter whose work explores psychological tension, climate anxiety, and female-led horror, with Blood Buzz marking her directorial debut in genre film. Daisy's storytelling blends surrealism with grounded emotional stakes, often drawing on rural landscapes and folklore.
Michael Shon: Producer
Michael is a producer, production assistant and actor based in London. He has always been drawn to dark, weird and twisted stories, starring in 2017's dystopian nightmare Transmission, and cutting his producer teeth as an associate producer alongside Paul Ashton and Joe Johnsey in the award-winning dark comedy Shallow (2020). Bloodbuzz is his first credit as sole producer, which has since won Best Cinematography at Dead Northern 2025 and Best Horror at Phoenix Rising Film Festival 2025. He also works in the production department in HETV, and has just completed working on a 6-part drama series for the BBC.
Richard O'Hare: DOP
Richard "Bucky" O'Hare is a Yorkshire‑based cinematographer and director of photography, co‑founder of Orillo Films, with over a decade of experience shooting commercials, documentaries, and narrative projects. Since 2010 he has worked with major brands including Sony, Guinness, and Discovery+, while also carving out a distinctive voice in genre filmmaking. His horror short The Heritage was released as part of Hulu's Bite Size Halloween anthology, and he continues to focus his narrative work within horror while balancing a slate of branded content and documentary projects.
Callum Read: Editor
Callum is a freelance editor based in South London. His first feature as an editor, Haar, premiered at the BFI film festival in 2023. Since then, he has cut a number of shorts, features, and a documentary. He is also currently working on his own horror short to be shot in 2026.
Johnny Vivash: Actor
Johnny Vivash is a London‑based actor with a strong theatre background who has become a familiar face on the independent horror scene. Originally from Dublin, he trained in London and toured nationally with theatre companies before moving into film. He has appeared in numerous award‑winning shorts and indie features across the UK, Europe, and the US, and is a regular collaborator with genre directors both as an actor and script developer. His credits include Walking Against the Rain, Charismata, Book of Monsters, and Freeze, alongside recent festival favourites such as Bloodbuzz and The Fairy Moon. Vivash has won multiple Best Actor awards at Dead Northern, Starburst, and Birmingham Film Festivals, cementing his reputation as one of the most versatile performers in contemporary indie horror
